a dice bag

I knit this for a friend to give to her teenage son who has started gaming.  I do not know if he will like it or not so it was given with the understanding that if he does not like it, he may bequeth it to someone else. 

This picture was taken before I took care of the loose ends.  I did not knit the drawstrings, those were sourced from cord that I had laying around.  I found the pattern, via Ravelry, at this website.

sandal straps

Today I purchased a pair of Sseko sandals and basic black straps at Mustard Seed.  I really liked that I could make my own straps to match my mood, outfit or pedicure.  I dug out some fabric that I bought a few years ago for no particular reason other than that I thought it was pretty.  It is finally getting to see the light.
